Walk the rooms
We count the rooms, look at the traffic lanes, and name any spot that will not come out before the work starts.

Pre-treat
Traffic lanes and spots get a pH-neutral pre-treatment and time to break the soil down.

Extract
Hot water extraction flushes the loosened soil out of the pile rather than driving it deeper.

Groom and air
The pile is groomed so it dries standing up, and we move air across the room before we leave.

Why Phoenix carpet goes flat and gray in the traffic lanes

Monsoon season drives fine grit indoors and it works its way to the base of the pile, where every footstep grinds it against the fibers. That is abrasion, not just dirt, which is why a vacuum lifts the surface and the lane still reads gray. Extraction flushes the grit out from the base instead of pushing it further down.

Is there a minimum for carpet cleaning?

Yes. Residential carpet cleaning starts at three rooms. Below that, call and we will talk through what makes sense for the job.

What counts as a room?

A bedroom, living room or den counts as one room. Hallways, stairs, landings and walk-in closets are counted separately during the estimate, so nothing is added to the bill afterwards.

Do you move furniture?

We move what can be moved safely and clean around what cannot. Tell us about heavy or fragile pieces when you book, so the time is set aside for it.

What is carpet protector, and do I need it?

It is a treatment applied after cleaning that helps the fibers shed soil rather than hold it. It is $15 per room and it is optional. On a guest room that sees little use it is usually not worth it. On a hallway that takes the whole household, it is.

Can you get pet odor out of carpet?

Often, but not by cleaning the surface. On carpet the odor usually soaks into the padding underneath, so we treat the source rather than masking it. If the padding is saturated, we will say so rather than charge for a result that will not hold.
